Dr. Poon received his Doctor of Medicine degree from National Taiwan University in Taipei, Taiwan.
He completed his internship and general residency training at Yonkers General Hospital in Yonkers, New York and went on to complete his family medicine training at Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.
He is board certified in Family Medicine and has three children.
